Family pass of the Free State of Saxony

The family pass entitles the holder with his children to visit certain institutions of the Free State of Saxony (museums, collections, castles and palaces) free of charge. Which institutions this concerns can be found in the leaflet of the Free State of Saxony: "Information on the Family Pass provided by the Saxon State Ministry for Social Affairs"

A family pass can receive:

• Parents with at least three children eligible for child support,
• Single parents with at least two children eligible for child support,
• Parents with a child eligible for child support who is severely disabled,

if they live in a domestic community and have their permanent residence in the Free State of Saxony.

For residents with their main residence in Dresden, applications can be made at the registration offices and citizens' offices of the state capital Dresden.

The following documents are required:

• Identity card or passport of the applying parent
• Certificate from the family benefits office about the children entitled to child benefits.

The family pass is income independent.
