As of the 31^st of December 2023, there were 96.847 people with a migration background living in Dresden. This corresponds to approximately 16,9 % of the city's population. 12 % of all Dresden citizens are foreigners; some just stay for a limited period of time while others choose to make the Saxon capital their new home.
