The Prohlis free shop accepts items that are no longer needed but are needed by others. The shop also serves as a meeting point for residents and thus also represents a communication opportunity. During opening hours, items that are in good condition and usable can be dropped off there, e.g. dishes, clothing, toys, household linen, household appliances, etc. People who need the items can pick them up and take them with them. At the same time, you also meet other people in the free shop. A conversation, a cup of tea or coffee, which you can also drink there, make the shop a place where you like to go.

The clothing store for (expectant) families is run with donations. People from a wide range of backgrounds and generations volunteer with great idealism to take care of the daily process of accepting and distributing donations in kind. Many Dresden families bring numerous donations in kind. The clothing store makes an ecological contribution and supports families in an unbureaucratic way, without the need to provide any proof.
